FIRM OVERVIEW

When choosing an attorney, you have many options and it is vitally important that you know exactly what you’re getting with each. At the Law Office of Ben Winters, I treat every case as if it is the only case. I am not a “full service” lawyer who will draft your will one day and represent you in a divorce the next. Instead, I focus on what I know best….accident/injury law and criminal defense. Regardless of whether a case settles out of court or proceeds to trial, I will handle your case from beginning to end with the diligence and aggressiveness that you should expect from your lawyer.

SERVICE OVERVIEW

Having practiced law for over a decade, Ben has focused his practice on two areas of the law: injury/accident and criminal. Since entering into private practice nearly ten years ago, Ben has represented hundreds of clients who have been injured due to another’s negligence and has secured millions of dollars in injury settlements on their behalf.
As a former prosecutor, he honed his skill in the courtroom and knowledge of criminal law which he now uses to defend those clients of his who have been charged with a criminal offense.

CIVIL

Have you been injured by the negligence of another? It happens every day and, if it has happened to you, you know that the injuries and damages you’ve sustained can turn your life upside down. From property damage and lost wages to medical treatment and pain & suffering, these are the types of losses that many victims of another’s wrongdoing will likely experience.

CRIMINAL

As a former Assistant District Attorney, I used to spend my days in court prosecuting criminal cases ranging from Driving Under the Influence to Homicide and everything in between. Trying over one hundred jury and bench trials, I honed both, my knowledge of criminal law and courtroom advocacy skills, which I now use to defend my clients who have been charged with a criminal offense.
